Anybody heard of Cool Window Films?

Cool window films is Nexfil USA I have been using this film for last 6 months its a great film great black colour shrinks very fast sticks well anyone used Nexfil USA

Q. If you had the chance to pay $10 more in film per car and receive an extra $100 more per car would you do it?

I used a sample that was thrown at me on a mates car and must say was quite happy. Deep black colour, shrinking etc. I didnt think it was near as good as UltraGard films in may aspects however at 1/3 of the cost I think its not bad..

Heya Dean,

Was not aware that İ was obligated to use a certain film to be on the İTN network. Or is this the case?? İf so better take me off it as İ do stock and sell a variety of films that best suite the customers needs in auto and flat glass.. My reco is always UG as i thinks its best of them all... İm not in a position to have somebody tell me what İ can and cant sell and where to sell it....

I want to be 100% clear!

The ITN is not 35's or mine, or Dev's or anybody's.

If people in the ITN offer prices that don't equal a price structure that can maintain a viable business, and would encourage others to follow suite in offering unrealistic low prices just to compete then they are not welcome.

If they use products that have no warranty and push films that are not within the state laws as a business model, then they are not welcome in the ITN.

It is for quality focused professional tinters who are focused on using high quality long lasting products that have backup and support from the manufacturer in the event that product failure occurs.

 

"IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH USING FILMS THAT ARE SOLD AT GLASS TINTING SUPPLIES!" NOTHING!

 

I have never once contacted a single person during the process of developing the ITN to sell a single item, and never will. I want to have GTS at stage that we have some great choices to help finance a strong and successful network for independently owned pro tint shops that can allow a voice for the people that put up da papas.. So to speak.

 

It will take time to be the best it can be.. And that goes for tinters who are getting their legs in the industry. Sometimes it just takes a lesson in time. People do what they need to do, some work from their garage, some use a cheaper film in the hope to save up, some get smarter and work harder. Who's right? The answer is a matter of opinion.

 

About The Independent Tinting Network

 

The Independent Tinting Network was created to give the Independently owned window tinting businesses in Australia a voice that has long been lacking since now. It is a way to take the most skilled, dedicated, selfless window tinting experts and allow those individuals to be found by customers that are not just looking to tint their windows, but to find a service that they can rely on for many years to come.

Hey Ozi,

You are in what may just be the worst possible area for price shoppers. Some of them just want it for nothing.

I can see how you need to promote a very low price to even get possible customers to contact you, then you fight an uphill battle to convince them that it is worth spending a few extra bucks to get a better product. You have a hard task to get your biz off the ground in this way when you are still mastering the skill.

 

Nexfil has some very below par film, but it is priced accordingly, the issue that sits with me is that they can offer such prices simply because they will never ever on our blue earth need to worry about paying you a decent warranty replacement rate as whoever the heck is selling the stuff today, will be gone tomorrow. Hence why it has such a negative affect on our industry.

 

People see bubbled junk film on a car that is 1 year old an think "I will never have window tint on my car if that's what it does"

 

If you can pay a little extra for a great product with great support and the extra benefit of good marketing material that helps you seal the deal to your customer then it is a little extra worth spending.

 

How can you just ask your customer to pick their film from Ebay?

We CAN NOT go there. The ITN is quality product, quality installs, quality customer service. Then there is the rest.

Devil is 100% right when he says that some people allow the customer to dictate the price. You dictate your price... Know your product.. Believe in it... Lay it on the glass the best you can.. Fill out your warranty form... And watch your business grow.

 

Not everyone can have the perfect business, but united we can help each other be better.
