Cold Temps

Recommended Posts

Has anyone had issuses with tint freezing or frost between the tint and glass in cold weather? I have a lot of cars to do this week and the outside temps are going to be between 5 for the low and 15 to 20 for the highs here. I will be tinting in a heated shop but I'm wondering about the car setting outside after we tint it and for the next few day after that. Any thoughts,

This time of year has the highest return rate. When the temps stay below 40 deg for an extended period the film is naturally going to dry at a rate that is noticeable.

Still no returns due to auto tinting in winter here :thumb

If you are having returns due to"  lower temps and longer drying time."

You may need to start eating your Wheaties and put more effort into getting the slip out.
