I was taught to push the water out. Insted of pulling the water out. Is there a difference? I've heard that u get more water pushing.I also push on clear bras.

I think you get more water out by pushing, but i do both ways for the initial tack, so the film doesn't shift.  With rollups I hold the top edge of the glass (and film) with my left hand while pulling the blue max with the right.

Yep get it tacked and then hammer down with the blue max.

In my experience if there is a " boulder" under the film when pushing you can tear the film. When "pulling " the squeegee goes over it and you don't lose the film but know its there and can deal with it and knock it down again rather than tossing the material.

This. Nothing wrong with pulling and then squeegeing over. It's a must for me with flat glass, especially vinyl.
