it looks the same. i charge extra on any vw car. takes time on doors. shouldnt be to difficult.

Their not that bad. You can undo screws behind cover plates to take trim off but I just pull back and use a hook tool to pull the rubber out. Theirs a few different types, even a frameless so maybe you'll get lucky but either way their not bad at all

The only thing I do differently on the new ones is pull the front two panels back (makes it way easier to tuck behind bottom seals, and trim the back window small so the inner a pillars don't interfere during installation. I've done a few 12 volt installs on the new ones, and the clips for panels are a lot stronger than the old ones, so be careful if you pull any.

I only take rear decks out if I have to. Some of those decks slide towards the front to get it off the glass.
