Any tire store should have them. Ask for a threaded metal valve for a semi. They are rated at 100 psi.

shouldn't they be rated higher?? i've seen most of the posts on here say they run them about 80-100psi? i thought you went up to 145psi? going that high for window tinting seemed a bit much but hey, what do i know right??

80 to 100 psi is plenty. And the semi valve will work fine. That's what I have on both my tanks.

only thing i am still an issue with is how to connect the hose to the ball connector?? i feel skeptical about using a hose clamp and would rather have a pressure fitting for it, any ideas on that?? I did a search and found some posts, but they are old and the pictures have been taken down

You have to have a popit to connect the hose to the tank.

Serach for a liquid side popit for soda kegs.

Its ok if the stem doesn't hold the pressure...as long as you aren't standing over the tank when it decides to pop off...it'd make a mess of your swing set, ouch!

Damn at 100 psi it must almost blast the film off, I'm good with mine at 75 or 70.
