Solar X ???

I checked out an old appartment today, and the manager said it was tinted 30 years ago(not likely) with a film called solar X. Anyone hear of it, use it in the good ole days? Know who made it? The film was a mess. Couldn't see out of it... Full of big round air pockets (install or bubbling?) It may turn out into a large re & re.

I just did a quick search on the Net. I couldnt find anything on an actuall Solar X film. All I found was a s**t load of shops called Solar X.

I keep seeing ads on the banner for Solyx, I wonder if there's any relation?

Yea, I couldn't find any info on it either... Sounds more like a super hero than a solar film. Thanks anyways!

SOLAR X was a DTI distributor out of texas, they got bought out by that big

conglomerate, SOOOLOOOOGARDE.

Dont confoose with solyx,

Yep ..used to use it from 1977-1980 when my dad and I first started the business..it came from Texas, and was a good film for it's time..when properly installed, it lasted for a long time..I know we tinted the Trenton Air Base with some and it lasted for about 20yrs B4 it needed replacing :fart
