done with windshields

I don't do shields and I do pretty good.  I think I am good at doing shields, but I got burnt.  I did a shield for brand new Jaguar, and 3 weeks later I get a call that the car is having electrical issues.  I used very little solution and I always stuff my microfiber on the sides to catch most of the run off.

 

Well, long story short, the dealer won't cover warranty and I got stuck with paying for the guys electrical issues $760 later - and I quit doing shields F@#$ IT... is easy money,yeah, but not for me

i find if you a squeegee twice you get a cleaner finish .

I had something similar happen Rjsi, but the guy came back a year later and told me that it messed up a month after being tinted but warranty covered it. I'll probably keep doing it till the same happens to me though haha.

Watch out for the 2010 and up Chevy trucks! I think I told this before, but if water gets into the brake switch, the truck will not go in gear until the water is dried out.

maybe instead of using a sprayer put on the water with a sponge or something then squeege cut down amount of water . We do tons of airblue never had a problem but after reading this i probably will .

50% ain't clear And that's what i get asked for most of the time.

One of the main things i do is try and get some blue shop towels shoved down into the dash. That usually soaks up the majority of it.

I didn't see where it says anything about clear films but it does say that it may not extend pass the as1 or 5 inches.
