Got a tip for windshield installs

Recommended Posts

Wanna keep water from drippin behind the windscreen? Go to your nearest marine supply outlet and buy different thicknesses of cotton like nylon rope. You know the type that can soak up water. Cut lengths of rope to fit all the way across from on side to the other and wedge it between dash and glass. Be sure one end curves outward so u dont get it stuck. You'll need one end accessible at one side (I would choose passenger side for lesser chance of multiple electronics or wiring) This to grab and pull out when finished. Different thickness of rope allows for different gapping among makes and models.
