4th job, E61 5 series estate. How hard is it?

Hi guys, tried a search but doesn't seem to work very well... Had a customer enquiring about having their 5 series estate tinted - I'm new to the tinting world but have a good grasp of the techniques now and am not afraid to pull a few panels if needed, had an S4 Avant in last weekend and it was a nightmare though.... Do the wagons still have the same dot matrix issues as the coupes do?

Also, are the upper and lower door seals as tight as they are on the big Audi, because that was a killer for me!

Thanks in advanced,

Nikos.

E61 is ok but you should approach it as it is audi again, it's similar.

I started a year ago, so i know what you feel.

Most important for me when i started was no to to damage a car.

Take your time for every step.

I was lucky i found best tinter in region and seen in 1.45hrs how its done without any dirt spec.

You should find someone and pay just to watch if its not free.

Read forum every day in your free time.

After 150 cars you can maybe consider expensive cars.

Stick to Skoda, Fiat, Hyundai, Alfa, Ford, Kia, Vauxhall/Opel...

Some Peugeot, Citroen, Renault are awful, worse than bmw, audi, merc.

Consider: Peel board, Marker pen, Gasket wizard, and clean shop, good tools, filtering bottle intake etc.

Season of tinting is about to start so prepare.

P.S.Cool logo for a start.

Done quiet a few of them. Wouldn't say that they are hard to tint. I do not pull panels on them now, did before. Losen the upper screws then you pop the top of panel back and get the gasket out. And then follow Ivan's advises. :)

Good luck and happy tinting! :D
