Haven't posted in a while this one was just so good I had to share. I tinted about 70sq ft of glass Friday. Finished up gave everything a good once over. I used silver 35 from express window film. The entry way that I did was closed off from the garage and house. The guy calls me up today and says I was using my leaf blower in there and a edge of the film blew up. The room was about a 4x6. Do you think a leaf blower was really necessary?

I must say jh812  :hmmm  you do come up with some interesting situations.

I would have to say that a leaf blower would not be covered under warranty (abnormal conditions)

Even the weakest leaf blower can create enough force once it circulates up a wall, to peel the film if the edges aren't sealed.  And in a room that size, if you stand in the center and turn in a circle, direct air force is only about 2 maybe 3 feet from the end of the nozzle on the blower.  That's a lot of force going up the walls.

I would have tell this person, as nicely as I could.....   sorry but this one is on you   :sand

Yeah I went through the whole no cleaning thing. I'm going to cover it because it's an older couple and this particular window is only 12"x 88". I guess I'll have to add that to the post care speech. @Bham anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

jh ----- The film was probably curling prior to the leaf blower incident , Lately, so many films have curling issues JS. That was honorable replacing it , shows character!!!!  :thumb

I imagine the corner probably was a little loose but seriously a leaf blower? I mean I've gone back a week later and pulled film off and it was like nothing was there. A little common sense should be in order.
