Roach I don't have details but 15 years back a cousin had her toung pierced and she somehow died with a massive infection. Just saying

Yikes! That's not good.... I'm not a big fan of tongue piercings.. I don't think it's wise with food and bacteria all in your mouth.

 

But good suggestion to avoid those.

Had my tongue pierced years back. Wife jyst had her nose pierced. Only thing I'll say is just find a nice shop that you feel it's a clean environment. Also talk to the guy and see if he tries to educate you a little on the piercing itself. What do you want done?

Can you just go to anyone, or is there an 'art' to it like tattoos? 

 

If it does make a difference who does it - how do you find someone good?

 

  Tats are up there next to interveneous drug use as the best way to contract Hep C. 

 

My brother warned his oldest girl in front of the youngest when asked how he felt about piercings... said to her if you ever have one done outside the customary ear lobe pierce, I will personally escort you down to have every known place people get pierced done for you... and I mean everyplace. Her eyes grew twice their size and said never mind. Hasn't done it yet either.

I'd like a tattoo as well.. but I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon... if at all.  

 

I like sleeves, but can't see me going thru with that. Wouldn't mind one on my upper back/bottom of my neck..  nothing big... but something cool looking.

My wife is planning on getting a tree on her back sometime soon. Hopefully finish mine up soon as well.

I was going to get a tat a few years back and then started thinKing about all the poking..... That and the tat artist works as a tinter for me and I started thinking about all the disagreements we have had over the last 12 years and the fact it would be permanent!
