2011 BMW 320D 3 Door Help

Hey all,

 

Have a bmw 320d 3 door coupe, Having a problem with the rear screen

 

All went fine apart from small bubbles appearing on parts of the defroster lines, also the thick dot matrix at the top of the window?

 

any ideas would be great!!

We use dotrix which is a black vinyl for those model....the 2 door accord have a big dot matrix on the top and it is perfect for it....also we charge a extra $50 to use that dotrix vinyl......

 

If you are have peanut on the top part of the defroster toward the edge it is because you are using dryer sheet to shrink.....Use ivory soap to dry shrink and it will solve it.  Spray some water on your hand and rub the soap....then rub it on the glass and let it dry....

thanks for the reply, to shrink the film i used the soap method. i have around 4 small peanut bubbles on the defroster lines?

Did u just used the soap and still have peanut???

Try shrinking it on low heat and using only the felt squeege....use tintslim will help too to installed it
