$99 llumar, is it real?

Lots of guys around me flying the llumar flag real high, but advertising any car 99$. Is this possible, do they have a line that is cheap enough to do that? Or are they doing shady stuff

They used to have a cheap line that regular dealers didn't offer...something for cheap people.  That has been discontinued for awhile as far as I know.  Most likely what is happening is they are using the name and installing a different film.  There is a mobile guy in Atlanta that claims Llumar and will tint any vehicle for $99 including SUV's.  I would call Llumar customer service posing as a customer and ask if these shops are dealer cause they are advertising it at $99.  Hopefully they will get on them if not.

This is crazy....back in March 1978 (39 years ago) I was getting $145 trade for a vehicle.....found some purchase orders recently when doing a clean out.

Our dollars are similar today from US to Oz so work out the direction this industry is going to.....

In Russia we tint cars for 50-80$

Roll - 200-250$

1roll = 20-25 tinted cars

50*20,25=1000,1250$

Profit from 20-25 cars - 750-1000$

My company tint at least 80 cars per month + car polish + ppf

$100 guys don't survive

 

Hell a real tint shop $150 is hard to survive

How big are your rolls? 20 to 25 cars is alot for 1 roll.

@Stewy we wast sooooo much tint here and cars generally are larger. @graphik you probably buy 60 inch rolls? When teaching there I'm always impressed with how much film you guys utilize.

Standart big roll

1.52m*30.5m =~45m^2

1 car approximately, in perfect way

B/g - 1,2m*0.75m = 0.9m^2

Sides - 0.5m*0.75m*2 = 0.75m^2

1 car w/o quaters - 1.65m^2

+20% for cutouts = ~2m^2

45/2=22.5 cars from 1 roll

impressive! wish i had the time to get that many out of 1 roll. 60" roll $285. 22.5 cars at my $200 rate = $4,500. profit of $4,215.

Wow, that's some great math there!!! I don't even understand it honestly, but if it works for you that's all that matters!! Hahaha
