FYI - I measured one pump out of a few bottles like that and they're all around 2 mls per pump. So you're at around 10 mls with 5 squirts if it follows that 2 mls rule, i use the same amount. I've been flip flopping between Dawn and Joy (both not concentrated). They're both made by P&G, i wonder how similar their ingredients are, though Dawn is hands down the more slippery of the 2.

Another thing to keep in mind is water quality around the country is very different. It will impact the amount of slip you need to add. Especially if you use tap water , added a specific filter, or you buy bottled water for install. Also, I use several different lines of window tint every day, which means I adjust the amount of slip accordingly. When one of those factors change you will have to do some trial and error to get the slip back where you prefer it.

When I top load I remove the whole liner and place it on top of the door panel with the side that was touching the adhesive facing up. I found doing it this way cuts down on creases and contamination. Creases can be easily heated out using the heat gun in a waving motion over the area your trying to fix while usin your thumb to feel how hot it gets before over heating the adhesive. When your thumb heats up to the point where you want to pull it off the glass is a good measuring method for when it’s hot enough to push the crease out without distorting the glue. I’ll make a video tomorrow to demonstrate what I’m talking about
