Understand this, if its not the ppf, it can be tempered glass. Do you know any software to have patterns for screens, climate and interior trim?

XPEL's Design Access Program has patterns for PPF interior kits which include screen coverage.  The software also allows you to create custom sized rectangles with radiused corners to create your own screen kits.  We have customers preloading this on thousands of cars a year at dealerships.

If you reached out to XPEL, you should hear back from a sales rep soon.

  2. @djgarrett21, those spots will go away.  Just keep them out of direct sunlight on hot days and allow them to evaporate at their own speed.  Generally they should go away in an hour or so, but that can vary greatly due to the level of moisture, as well as the humidity and temp.  Keep in mind that our clear coat is very thick, which is great for durability, but also makes moisture evaporate more slowly.

I am new here and am desperately looking for advice or recommendations. I just started up my own PPF business. I got certified by Xpel last year and have worked in this industry for many years at the dealership. Now, everything is done, I have the shop, EIN, insurance, etc. I just need customers. I cannot seem to get the dealerships to come around to utilizing PPF. They come up with excuses like  it's not in demand or it's too complicated to go through the corporation, etc. Anyone else have this problem at the beginning of your startup? What am I doing wrong? I am slowly starting to think I've made a mistake. I love this work and really want to make something of it.

A lot of it comes down to packages, pricing and talk track.  WHere are you locvated?  Maybe I can get your rep to assist.

How long should we expect the PPF to last being that different cleaners such as Clorox and windex are being used as cleaning agents? Is it warranted for 10 years still?

RX Protection Film can be cleaned with a wide variety bleach based and non-bleach based cleaners as well as Quaternary Ammonium Germicidal Wipes, from PDI, SafeTec, Steris, Jet and others. i.e., alcohol wipes, bleach wipes, germicidal wipes. Avoid hydrogen peroxide.

Warranty details can be found here, as it differs for commercial and non-commercial use:

Yes I believe there is a strong market for this type of surface protection, its still early on but it will come up. This is what my business is tackling, especially with all the new home construction in my side of FL. In regards to the film that you have used, how long in duration will the film last after application?

    Thanks

It all depends on the application.  If you install it on a residential marble kitchen counter top it'll last longer than if it was installed on a commercial bar top where there may be wine spilled on it every day and never cleaned off.
