quick pitch: Benefits of Tint Slime is that free of particulates and won’t separate, so no need to clean your sprayers out daily. Tint Slime is safe for use on interiors, biodegradable, and of course, tint safe. Made in the USA.
if you already use baby shampoo, you will love TInt Slime. It is actually safer to use than baby shampoo. Baby shampoo has a lot of chemicals that aren't very safe. Google it up.
1 fl oz to a gallon is a good amount of slip. We figure most tinters will use less that that, one gallon of Tint Slime should make 128+ gallons of slip, and you can just leave the mix in your sprayer. We have used it on everything in our shop. It has been tested on most window films met, ceramic, hp, dyed, flat (PS).

We developed Tint Slime to be safe for everything we do here at the shop. There is nothing in it that could do any damage to anything. It is safer than baby shampoo, we have been using it for a year with no issues.
As far as the fragrance goes it is a water based fragrance, not an oil based, and will not change our compound.
Our product was developed in conjunction with a chemical engineer specializing in soaps and was designed to be compatible with PSA window tint. The fact that it also works so well with vinyls and ppf is just a bonus, there is nothing in our product that would break down any adhesive or cause failure in any adhesive.
We have tested the product undiluted on dyed film and the film remained color stable. At a ratio of 128:1 the product would never effect any sort of window film. As for independent studies, Capt. Bill is going to test it in his QUV machine, but that testing will take several months. We have also sent samples to other dist to do their own testing. As for individual testing, we have sent samples to several window tinters in the last couple of months, they all love the product. If the dist who have tested Tint Slime would like to release their results, that is up to them.

To everyone, I was lucky enough to have tested the slime for Kari and can tell you that it works as advertised and that you will not find a better slip mounting solution anywhere.
Made by tinters for tinters.................... I will continue using it in the family retail shop and when teaching classes. Dollar for dollar you will not find a better product I guarantee
This is a fantastic product from some of the best people you will ever run across.
    Cheers

2012 7 Series in the shop today. Customer brought to me because his other tinter could not do the rear doors without screwing them up. I did them on the first try. Easy!
"Kids, don't try this at home!"
Leave it to the professionals only.

Update........I tinted an 09' LI today, what a pain!! I tint a lot of these cars, but there are differences! If it is an LI, instead of an I, the front doors will have the pin as I described earlier. The 09' LI I did today had the pins in the front and rear doors and it didn't have the sun screens, so that may be the thing that makes the difference , but it definately takes longer.

TintDude reacted to Tintguy1980 in Isopropyl alcohol with water safe for tint?
Okay for the glue, not okay for you to be inhaling it. Use it sparingly or you'll wind up like I did with alcohol poisoning; I used about one half cup per Poly2 continously in my slip, then stopped under doctor advisement.
It may be, you need take more time to prepare band matrix and remove the oxidation that is causing film not sticking to that material.

Guess it is getting fewer and fewer cutting softwares choices if you do not want to use "their" tint. I do not want to be bound to use a specific tint just because I want to use their software.
