Ok well thanks to everyone for the replies. I was hoping there was an actual time allowance for a job. But the way my work is set up I guess it probably wouldn't work anyways, being as we don't have different prices for different vehicles. Its just a set amount for a certain package regardless of difficulty.
Many dealerships here in edmonton will pay flat rate of about 1.5 hours for a Hood, fenders and mirrors package. They will pay you that much even if you get it done in 10 minutes.

wouldnt bond and hold correctly. Kinda working against itself.
its like putting an egg on a non stick frying pan
should be paint protection film first then ceramic coating after

soooo many bubbles at the bottom.. jk
yea the peanuts the in house tinters get for the tint job doesn't motivate them to do nice installs. I love doing these cars for customers because they become your forever loyal client after.

I couldn't watch the video past 3 minutes cuz the girl kept saying TINTS.

i will poop my pants if my quarter million dollar car looked like that haha

Where does everyone get there distilled water? From a delivery service? Or do u have equipment to distill your own water?
http://www.steamdistiller.com/tc-503-automatic-water-distiller/
I was looking at this system

U won't need anything larger then 40" for window tinting and paint protection.
If you do a lot of full hoods and full vehicles then you will need the largest plotter.
The biggest waste of money is the 48" plotter cuz u can't load a 60 inch roll for the full vehicle ppf jobs and as for window tint you don't use one whole foot of it.

Have to be active otherwise no money

At a glance your sentence all I see is pink, hand job, stroke
- pbalentine and no ma'am

The push start buttons gets wrekt from water being spraying in the back window. so try to spray less water.
The side windows if its the same as the 2016 and 2017 models then you will have to take apart the door panels to apply felt on all 4 doors. This one is a bitch to apply felt on since the seals take a long time to remove and reinstall properly.
aside from that its easy to tint. It just comes with alot of issues and time consuming to do properly.

wow that is a long brow lol
-
black painted ppf huh.
So did they top coat it with a spray or a paint brush
-
the matte ppf doesnt exactly change the color, you're not gonna take out the door handles wrap it in stealth and reinstall it. install it similarly to the cls550 and the customer should be happy. The slightest hairline gap of uncovered film around the door handles is nearly impossible to see. If he wants it perfect but doesn't want to remove the headlights he is being unreasonable. Those lights can be removed in a minute.
Is the stealth film self healing?

That's like bringing your own cold cuts and bread to the deli for a sandwich.
When u put it that way.... haha
it makes the customer sound that much cheaper

I see this happen on other cars like mustang convertibles and kias or Hyundai's as well. It's not just this car, can't decline them all. I just do It and take a chance. If it happens then let them know and hope they understand lol
-
Correct, just find a good reputable installer
-
I've seen this happen, bad quality defrost lines damaged just from cleaning it. When u take it off he will lose more lines. While u install a new piece of tint more will fall off into the tint.
Tell the customer to get new glass lol

most people don't care about that transferable warranty, its just there to give the buyers assurance that they are not worried about warranty issues. Since the word lifetime warranty is thrown around everywhere. Even the guy with purple window tint offers lifetime warranty.

Some models u can remove the headrest and some you cant depending on the trim level.
The vehicle is pretty easy

just one photo!?!?

Website and all our marketing is done in house.
Mainly focused on Automotive window tinting and paint protection film.
What's the reason for some vehicles getting glare on the defrost lines?
