Here is a list of Chinese Supercars...some have very good printed specs that could be better than it's competitor. However, I am sure most people will stick with buying Lamborghini, Ferarri, and McLaren.

100% It dont matter if the specs is that much better. Even if it had insane stopping, launch and cornering it still doesn't have the reputation that Lamborghini, Ferarri or Mclaren has.

i never take referrals from my cheap friends anymore haha

to be very honest most the prices you have been quoted in my opinion is very cheap. Crystalline products in my area on an average vehicle will be 1000 bucks. If you're looking to get a great product you're already on track. Just compare the shop and make sure you're comfortable as soon as you walk in, avoid the shady shop that may tell you they sell all brands of film. This way you know you're getting the product you asked for and its not reboxed. The installers that take pride in what they do will install your film no gaps of light and reduce any dust and contamination. This is what you should be more concerned about.
As for CIR i cant comment since I've never used the product.

@DynamicATL has seemed to sum it all up alot better then I have

The prices will vary depending on the area so I cant comment on that part. However you are on the right track. Both Llumar and F1 products are great. The most important is finding a good installer you can trust and feel comfortable with. The CTX is in a completely different class the 3m color stable so its not the greatest comparison.
The 3M colorstable will be in the same class as the Llumar ATC and F1 Classic series.
I do recommend the CTX or Pinnacle.

Shops always ask me to resell film. Always a no no since it will come back and bite you. Against our contract.

I think this may be dependant on the region and area.

@poppawilly67 the specs are just pollen from the tree I'm tragically parked under until I get my garage back next week..to be honest It would fool me as well. The name sounds badass

Thanks for all the advice. I think I'll take it down this week and ask them to redo it. I am a bit worried they'll deliberately damage the demister to prove a point, or use shitty tint film instead..
I'm guessing the damaged section everyone's referring to is the dark shaded spot on the lower right hand side?I dunno if they can replace a made in China film with a worse made in China film

I used to carry black pearl NR in 2012. I've got customers comming back with completely purple windows. I hope the new BP ceramic wouldn't be the same
-
Yea one section of the defrost lines already come off. Even if they are worried its gonna damage the defrost line removing the film. It probably already doesnt work anyways so what difference does it make. just kindly ask them to remove it and have it reinstalled.

They hook over but I feel it's the hooks over quite far. Would be a pain to hook it back over. I tried then gave up.

I did one of these last week. I'm kinda sad that I can't just pop the top anymore

ok thats sweet! i'm gonna look into purchase one of those

I'm looking to make some new gift cards. Do you guys have any photos or examples if what you got for gift cards. I'm looking for ideas and what u should put for fine print ect.
I've had people come to me to return gift cards to me before because my gift cards didn't say non refundable for cash value.

technology has changed many new products now are thicker and easier to use and shrink.

JAM some window bones and wedge tools inside the seals. leave it for about 1 hour and then come back to it. Loose as a goose after and no need to trim.
I learned this from another tintdude member

i've seen these issues occur in some brands of film not because it wasn't post heated but the glue would stay on the car and the film itself separates from the glue. Kinda like delamination.

Yea I think sunset and Llumar ppf is definitely the nicest to work with, i haven’t found another one that i like
Pinnacle tint seems kind of light for 30%
