Italian paint is pretty weak. We did one of those Alfas with Suntek (least aggressive adhesive of all leading brands) and when the customer damaged the film on the bumper, the clearcoat separated from the paint during removal leaving a big white bubble.
This can also happen on oem paint as well. When The bumper grazes or bumps into something it causes the paint to break from the polycarbonate. Still held in place but weaker from impact. when it comes time to peel the film it can take the paint off.
This is a pretty nice car! I would do the suntek ultra. The film is super clear. I doubt you would notice the difference in clarity between the two films unless its side by side. Buying Paint protection is like a wall of TV's at a big box store. You may see a SLIGHT difference between the major brands side by side. Once you take it home it all looks the same. LOL

As long as it is a dealer ordering the product it should be fine. It is like me ordering a banner and I include Llumar's logo on it or the wrap on our shop truck. As long as it fits the guidelines and you're a dealer I don't think there will be an issue. Usually, a sign shop will have on the invoice that the consumer states they have permission to use the logos.
Yea I make a ton of our own Llumar literature. However I think the difference maybe that this item is being sold with the Suntek , huper, llumar and 3m logos on it. When all the major manufacturers sell heatlamp displays(or offer them free for high volume shops) Basically a competing product. Its almost like making a better burger and making wrapping paper with mcdonalds logo. Some manufacturers have branding guidlines, i'm sure many manufacturers wouldn't mind, but its better we tell him then someone with a suit and tie from some corporate legal department.

these are really nice displays and i respect what you're doing for the community here.
I don't think its legal to resell products with these logos though. Most major brands will not allow there logos to be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without written permission.

Can we have photos both inside and outside. Also some photos a little further back. The can barely see what we are looking at

Make sure you call the glass company direct...like Pilkington. I paid $200 getting it through a mobile glass guy we know, but I am sure he made atleast $40/50 for picking up and dropping it off to us.
I tried this when the car was just released and it was no lie 800 bucks, but I guess they must have a ton of other brands making them now

The photo is plenty enough detail, thank you very much, i'm gonna look for my local ZEP dealer to see if they can get it for me to try.

How long does a towel last? One window or more? Like how many of them do you go thru on a car?
I usually use 1 or 2 per car

Hey Pop off the engine start stop and insert the key and turn like a regular car I think they have to go to the dealership and get it reprogrammed
I've had this issue on a CLA and reprogramming didn't work

What do you mean full test fitted with full wrap?
A program?
And which program is the absolute best?
Xpel and premiumshield studio are the only ones that have been designing there own patterns and testing them for a very long time.
Most other companies purchase the pattern from a third party and resell the pattern not knowing how well it fits, Preciscion cut just started making and test fitting there own patterns recently.
Currently at the moment Xpel has the best software at the moment.

The difference we charge is quite a bit. We charge almost double for stratos. what i charge wouldn't be the same with every other region either. I live in Canada so it wouldn't be accurate to where you live most likely
-
currently at the moment not so good, but some of us are on a new beta version with full test fitted kits with full wrap
as of right now not the best, but hopefully soon will be

Here are some photos with stratos 70 and air80 so u get a good idea of how it looks, overall performance i would say the 70 is much much better, if you plan to keep the car for a long time then its worth it. if not then just get the 80
Above will be a ford focus with stratos70
Genesis g70 with stratos70
Genesis g70 without tint on windshield
Stratos15 on all sides and rear of same g70 (this is what your car will look like)
Stratos 70 on all sides and rear windows of m2
Air80 on front windshield of m2
Air80 on all windows of golf
-
i've used quite a bit of the stratos 70 on full vehicles. i also did a windshield yesterday with it. I will try to post photos when i can. A little busy today.
The 70 does outperform the 80 by a long shot. the 70 also has a real nice blue hue like the 80 does.

The plus side with the stratos is it comes in many different darkness and it shrinks like butter. Much easier then the drei and the the crystalline. You should definitely give it a try! @DynamicATL
-
Best?
3M crystalline
Huper optik ceramic line (not sure what u call that one)
FormulaOne Stratos

Door panels marks

that doesn't dry out, the water got through the stitching and the CARDBOARD absorbed and expanded, it wont change back to its original form. I always tape and cover the stitched door panels from bmw, water just makes its way in.
YES bmw does make the door panels out of cheap recycled cardboard material.
