Ok im going to get the DVD’s for my birthday. On some of my windows i get contamination or the trim isnt real good. So I just keep putting that piece on because it is practice. I can do a couple windows after work or somtimes only one, and im working outside. I like to come on here and read what you pros are saying. Also ive been watching you tube and watch the same videos over and over again. How many if any flaws are acceptable on a job. I bought some mid grade film 35%. Thats legal here. Thanks for taking the time to answer
No flaws at all we are perfect haha!!! Jk

if you're using CarbonFX it's basically the same level film with a different hue. Ultra is charcoal, CarbonFX is black. Like same install but different tone.
Some aggressive adhesive man...

I don't think Vintage and Prime are color stable. I think he'd want UltraFX or CarbonFX if he was looking for no fade.

I am needing advice on this film. I have a pretty big job with this film and having trouble laying big pieces. The size of the glass is 48” x 103” and I cannot get it to lay down without finger. The glass is bending due to being frameless so that is why I am thinking it won’t lay without finger. I also lower my solution with a drop of dawn and it still dont work. It will stick no problem on smaller size glass 48” x 36”....advice please...maybe it won’t stick due to thickness.
Get heatgun shrink fingers..maybe...

One of the other kinda local tint guys called me and asked why my price was X amount for X door car and don't i think that was a little too cheap? Yeah i guess it was, so a little communication raised my price and we're all happy.

Folks,
Being silly and giving quippy answers and all is fine and in fun.
But when you get serious and chastise a newcomer over asking questions...suggesting they are asking childish questions, and suggesting they should do a search first, when you haven't even checked to see what comes up in the search tool first......well, that's out of line in my opinion.
That becomes a personal attack that wasn't deserved.
Baby shampoo and water or joy dishsoap....use distilled water...windex will eat most film adhesive bro....

Do you like it does it glide good and push out a lot of water ???

Has anybody tried the new Redline squeegee from Fusion tools heard it's good

On the bottom and top try to lift the film and do a double snap shrink shrink it once then lift it again might spray some water on it and shrink it twice... also play with your slip solution you may have too much or it may just be cheap film with bad adhesive.. Walmart and AutoZone tint have bad adhesive no good...
