BMW 640 GT Huper C40 with Wincos 70

Thank you all who voted. This was a serious set of windows! Happy new year.

The windows in that picture above were 66" by 10' with an arch at the top behind the curtain. The curtain went floor to ceiling and wouldn't go any higher. The film was PS adhesive, but we reverse rolled it. Came out great for direct sun.

The scaffolding wasn't the best but the cost was less than $700. If I had better access and a CDA film, I would have been able to do it with a little giant skyscraper.

ASWF has the best performing IR film on the market and its the best priced as well.  Do some research and educate yourself on their new IR films.

Im sorry but you can’t say that. I’ve tried them all. The new dimension is a great film, but put it on a meter next to Wincos. They had you beat over a decade ago. Maybe just say “ we have a great new competitive film with great optical clarity “ instead. It might win more support that way.

Maybe not the correct film in the end, but the color was. If it were mine, I probably would’ve considered the same move

Removed CR and put on Madico HP Black Pearl 🤣🤣🤣 I don’t try to waste any brain cells on it, I just do it

Good point to state correctly to the customer the value of the better film. A 14% gain is noticeable.

The dealers do not allow the installers to do any disassembly either. Nobody wins. I've heard the pay to be $15-30 per car. A recipe for disaster. Hurts the tint industry for sure.

I wrote many blog posts as well. This is something you can do to add content. I get a lot of hits on the blog and my FAQ page. Its interesting to watch what ends up being a big hit.

Just close out the box and don't sign up. Pick US, then type in window tint. You get all the things people are searching for. Then, write a blog answering one of the questions in there. It makes you relevant. You know a lot of info anyway and will probably be able to write a good blog.

Front sweeps pull very easily like a GTI. No shrinking needed on the sides, rear hatch is very easy as well. Sunroof and windshield were also very accessible.

This might be the easiest VW to tint.

I built mine through WIX. Great platform and they are always adding features. I highly recommend. It took a long time to get where it is, but I have a lot of content in there. It ranks well.

What is the threat to our industry? I see many growing opportunities ahead

He should be showing you the S7... 70+% IR and under $300 a roll. Can't argue with those numbers. Longevity is still a question, it's realitively new

We installed Dub IR samples last weekend. No complaints. Better IR rejection than most of the ceramic market. It is targeted as a top tier film. My only concern is that it is not a recognized brand with a long track record. Otherwise, we would consider. SWFL climate will destroy any weak film. Its on my brother in laws work truck. I will be monitoring for low angle haze and durability. Over 80% IR rejection verses Llumar CTX 58% on the SS2450. Good color, handling, and clarity.

Just keep in mind the SolarGard Ultra Performance is not a Ceramic, it is a nanotechnology film.  Ultra Performance Plus is a Nano-Ceramic film, but only comes in 80%.  Based on the specs, I do question if that is Llumar AIR 80 reboxed.

Ive installed both the AIR80 and the UP80. Similar but not the same. It is, in my opinion, the best competition I have seen for AIR80. Very very close numbers and pricing. AIR80 is a little easier to shrink and install, but otherwise good work on Solar Gard's end.
