We've done 3 of the 03 's recently. The first 2 we're done by my co workers, and they said they we're a pain in the ass to remove seats, side panels etc.. I did my first Saturday - and they we're right - and from now on the price goes up if we go that route. The binder thing works ok, but cleaning behind is hit and miss. Also, I always seem to leave small moisture pockets which sometimes dry leaving tiny air bubbles with the binder method. If I were only getting $110 I'd cut around also. :)

Newbie, sorry for the old topic post.

We take out the rear deck. Easier to tint and we think it looks better.

First deck removal was an hour, now 7 minutes.

Seats

- 10mm socket

- remove two bolts small seat back, remove.

- remove one side bolt on big back, remove big seat back.

- remove one bolt seat bottom, right of centre, pry up two clips on seat front, remove.

Side walls

- Phillips screw located behind wall handle, remove one per side.

- PULL wall from car, no problem.

Pillar caps

- Use pry bar on plastic push clips.

Deck

- Remove bulb from deck in trunk

- slide belts from slots on deck

- prybar UP the front of the deck 4 clips.

- PULL deck forward and remove.

- prybar the 4 clips at the base of the glass and put back in the deck

Speakers

- cover or remove.

Replace all in reverse. No problem. :shock

We do this for a new Honda dealership weekly.

I'm with you TG. I don't think I have ever pulled the back seat out. Although you do have to be careful getting it out not to scratch or crack. Saves alot of time though :evileye
