Did a 2005 Jetta today, its the same as the 2004 but the back glass has barely 1/16" to hide your film on the bottom and not much more on the sides, I hope this was just a freak thing, maybe the glass got sucked in wrong or something, rear deck easy just like the 2004.

This has no place here, I just wanted to use it.

yea but the  93-96 or so, are a biatch to do if you are removing panels or even windows, screws all over the panel, when taking out windows the whole rubber comes off along with the small vent glass..... :thumb

If you take out the 2 top screws on each side , the 2 screws in the handle and the plastic triangle mirror cover, the panel pulls back and gasket pulls out of these with gentle prying of plug puller .that way you get the benefit of having the panel off ...without having to remove the panel.

A way ...not THE way :lol
