using steam to apply PPF

was curious how many of you use steam to install ppf ?

I do sometimes. It really helps on some installs. It also helps to get the edges to lay down and seal really nice.

Just finished some ppf training..went well ! Using Clear Shield and steam went pretty good..good enough to bring a 1010 Mazda sport back to the dealer with a freebee of my training end result

Just need more cars to work on now ..someday I'll charge for it when I feel the work is consistant enough to put my name behind it

I do and think it helps out big time no matter what film you use. It is a must for clearshield IMO. I give props to the guys that don't rely on them much. I always have my steamer going it seems like.

I only use it sometimes.. to seems to sit down to quick.. I should ry it I guess,,,

when do you apply steam as your stretching the film or sealing edges , I've done my share of kits never needed a steamer though?

what brand you guys used? Any particular brand? Any particular model or specification? I'm in San Juan, Puerto Rico and our wheather is always betweeen 75-90. Thanks
