Well went to the er yesterday and I've got my first kidney stone at 23! :bingo I must say I thought I had a high pain tolerence until this. Made me want to crawl into the corner and cry. Got some flomax and loritabs for it but I'm ready to shoot this thing out. Anyone else have kidney stones?

Loritabs sweet. chew 3 10mg and no more pain

Crazy part is I've cut back on cokes and I only have maybe one a day as apposed to 6 a day :gasp I've started drinking water and gatorade. Guess it's a little too late!

My sister had them.. in her late 20's... and she doesn't drink much soda at all. (or coffee/tea) Mainly water and juices. I on the other had am an avid Pepsi drinker - which I am trying to stop - and have never had any problems. Go figure.

I can't even imagine the pain... and I've gone thru a lot of painful 'guy' things over the years... which I'm sure pale in comparison.

Hope they pass quickly and as pain-free as possible for ya!!

I had one at about age 27, unbelievable pain..I was on vacation too. Drank tons of water and pizzed out razor blades till it got out on it's own .I feel for ya!

Had four so far..........

While at the firehouse got one after a call, so I figured I'd go to the ER. ER was very busy, long story short......it had me in a corner crying, vomiting in pain all while in firefighting bunker gear.......I was a big baby!

Had a lady tell me once that she preferred birth to having a kidney stone. They are painful....if I think I'm getting one I immediately run for that little "special" medicine bottle in the cabinet. Once I have a few of those pills in me I hop on Cloud 9 - La La Land express and find my way to the ER.

Get some good pain meds and you'll be fine......but kidney stones SUCK!!!

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..

      Headlight Taillight Vinyl question... (Looking for CHROME)

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      I can't win with getting tint decent on the windshield. I had 3M on my F150 done twice and still has major defects. Recently did Stratos twice on my F350 and I see this granular spotted, texture pattern on the tint. It's super obvious in the corner here but also right in my view when driving. It's honestly hard to point out and show someone but when your driving and stuff is moving behind the windshield, it becomes more obvious. The lighting also matters. The first time I did the windshield, I had a two foot line on the windshield. Thinking it was tint, they removed the tint and it was apparently a defect in the Ford windshield. An issue between the laminated glass layers caused this big defect. So they removed the tint, I had Ford replace the windshield on a 2024 F350 but when the tint shop removed the tint, they made a bunch of micro scratches in the front windshield, probably from scrapping the glue off. I told them but I didn't care since Ford was replacing the windshield anyways. So if basically I'm trying to figure out what this texture stuff is and if I should have them replace or remove it. Replacing it might just have different issues but also afraid they will scratch the windshield.

      Need some help

      Never overlook the condition of the floor. Back when I did install, I used to mist the floor between the vehicle and the peel board. This is done between misting the window and walking toward the peel board to mist the pattern liner, peel liner and spray adhesive for install. Tacks any dust for the duration of each pattern install, so repeat each time a pattern is going to be installed.
