When you remove the small side windows on the ext cab part of trucks such as the 97 -99 Silverado's, what is the best way to get a nice round hole cut out for the holes in the glass where the mounts go?

In the past I have shaved them will a round fine file. Heat really well to help the film dry enough. I have let them sit while i finish the vehicles other windows and then installed the glass. This keeps the film from "twisting" creating a bubble. Not hard to fix though.
