I just saw some old sungard midnight 5% film that I put on a Ford Ranger truck 12 years ago....didn't see any adhesive failure!

PURPLE as barney, but no adhesive failure....

It probably would have been a different story if it was tint that had been heatshrunk on a bg of a car.

I bet film lasts 20+ years in Alaska (adhesive).

:nope Don't bet a lot. :dunno

:dunno Ever heard of ozone depletion :lol2

I have found the same thing. I used Madico's Charcool for many years, and the film was very color stable, but the back windows would bubble up after 3-5 years. Whats really weird is I had mustangs and a few jettas bubble up after a year, and these are very flat back windows. Really odd, and I have no answer as to why. I guess its the same for most mannys, the back window just wont last as long.
