I squeegee my side doors with a yellow turbo, and the back window with a blue max, and the bottom with a sideswipper or other misc tools. You should not be following up with a hard card, thats just going to smear glue. If you are using a 2 ply film, I would believe you are going to see some small water beads no matter how hard you are squeegeeing, and this would be normal. Squeegeeing is like cutting the grass, overlap you strokes, and apply enough pressure to where you see the water moving out from underneath the film.

i have a yellow turbo but it seems like i have to keep the tint wet at all times to keep it from marking the film. would u wrap ur yellow turbo in a paper towel or not? i just use the paper towel to soak up water. it seems like it goes bad under the film if i dont.

Blue max twice, blue card in paper around the edges.

Everybody has different ways of doing it, this works for me but I can't get on with the yellow turbo.
