You're right. Virginia's 50% law has been difficult because most brand's 50s end up reading 40-43%. Most of the 35s that I have metered have landed safely at 28%+.

In one of the articles that I was reading, they noted that when a vehicle is pulled over the driver's side window is generally down. I don't think that it is significantly harder to see into a vehicle with 35% than with 50%. The officers in 31 other states live with tint laws that allow 35% or darker windows. I fully support law enforcement and don't want to endanger their lives. I think 35% is reasonable.

I would be interested to know Mdog's opinion.

The funny thing is most cops go darker than legal on there personal cars anyways, because "They are above the law," so i think it's funny how they're fighting it, i hope the law is changed. 35% is no danger at all, period.

35 is fine....... but yes police always want darker Hope it all works out
