Easiest Film Removal

Recommended Posts

Got a customer who needs some frosted film for a one day shareholders meeting. It's a fairly large job and they want the film removed the day after the meeting. Anyone have any thoughts on what manufacturers film would be the easiest to remove after a couple of days?Thx

I would not normally say this , but the cheapest you can buy . I know some of the standard white frost products that are made by the manufacturers are used a lot in construction , and removed after the project is completed . Either way, most will be a PS adhesive , so after a few days to a week , it should not be terrible to remove .

Howard at EWF has a construction film we use for temporary situations. It leaves no residue when we take it off

I had a similiar gig a month ago and used Nexfil Frost, cheap and if you pull slow, most of the glue will come off. Hanitatek's Frosted Matte pulls off pretty good if you pull slow also but it's a little softer and thinner than the Nexfil. If it's coming off the next day, I'd go cheap but that's just opinion. I usually don't mind scraping a little glue. Good Luck.

Just use Rain-X on the glass before you install any of the frosted films and add extra soap to your water as well.
