should be completely safe for a 33"x33" clear dual pane annealed. Appears to be a bird strike to me...

look for some bird feathers on the outside. No mater what it was it sure sucks to be the tinter when these things happen.

drds absorbs 49% and on dual pain windows I like to keep it under 45% but anything under 50% is supose to be safe. so that films would be darker then I put on ig glass.

Looks like the window is cracked on the outside pane and not because of the film, impact of some kind.

If you are going to replace it for them have it thempered.

Best advice! Spend a couple extra bucks and show it was just a freak thing.

It looks like pretty dark film to me.

I wouldn't use DR 25 on a half-round; it's already at peak limit for clear dual-pane without other factors much less place it on risky glass such as this. Rounded cuts are never clean; they always have been snipped, one or multiple times, to achieve sizing.
