Maybe I haven't given it much of a chance. How do you know it's shrank enough? I'm assuming it's shrank too much when it starts to burn but I would hate thinking it was shrank enough and then have to chase fingers after applying the film.

I tried it, never got the hang of it. Always seemed to make things worse. You could just as easily make a finger on the peel board and shrink it out for doors.

Ditto, or shrink it on the outside.

As window tinters we all have all seen this snapping technique done, also called dry shrinking and curling. I have started snapping back glasses, this video shows one of the easier ones to do. I've been able to do cars like a acura tl, a ford fusion, and chevy malibu. these cars actualy have less curve than most and just wanted to show some of you it can be done.

Nine minutes and 16 seconds? Hell, I'd have the cash in my back pocket and halfway through the next car by then!

Not necessarily. There are some side windows you are better off taking the time to shrink. The stress of the film with a few yrs of weathering can prematurely fail the film in those stressed area.

Not all by any stretch, some that come to mind would be a cougar or baretta.

ill still shrink windows that have a bunch fingers showing up while cutting patterns.

I've tried it and it was easier than having to deal with them once the the tint is on the glass.... but I've only tried roll ups. Dry shrink the rears.

Add Mazda 2 Front doors to that list that works out good for snapping as I just got finished doing that
