We remove the shock struts, dry shrink the window, cut the pattern, install film, then cut the circles out when the film is on the inside. If you cut the circles out on the outside when you install it they tend not to line up after install. You can dry fit the film on the inside and pre cut the holes first before installing but it takes a little longer that way.

I have done 1 in one piece but it was a @#$% 84 or 85 and the only reason I 1 pieced it is belive it are not it had no defroster . with the thick defroster lines on most it is easy to hide a seam

after you have done a few of them you will be able to do it with out first removing the struts, just cut around them then do the double cut on the inside
