I was on a 37,000 sqft job that was priced around $2.85 sqft for 8 mil. Talk about working for nothing.

Are these companies that do large jobs like that hurting so bad they gotta charge such low rates? I could do 3-4 times less work and earn just as much money....

Guess that's why I don't do that many large jobs.  Much rather do more smaller jobs at a decent net instead of jobs like this.  And people always forget that if you tie yourself up with large work like this then the time you are working on this is time you are not available to take other better paying work that could come along.
