It's worth pointing out that the marine environment is considered to be perhaps most strenuous on the film itself over time.  You have the direct light, the reflected light from the water surface and the moist ambient conditions.  In addition, the average boat spends most of its time stationary, out in the sun and it rarely sees much shade.

 

It's a good idea to let you distributor know if it's a marine application.  He or she should steer you toward the most durable films in their catalog.
