2011 Silverado defroster problem

Just tinted the back window and realized within 10 seconds of squeegiing it that I need to shift it down 1/8". When I peeled it off, half of the defroster came off with it. WITHIN 10 SECONDS OF SQUEEGIING! I've never heard of this problem on these trucks. Anybody else had a similar problem? At first glance, I see no other post relating to this for these trucks.

Are you using Global QDP?

LLumar ATC. My regular mix of water and JJ. Nothing was done differently on this one than the thousands of other ones I've done. Just my luck, I guess.

Have the glass company replace it yesterday. They confirmed it was a factory glass. Best I can guess is it was a bad day in the defroster-installing department that day?!!

Friday afternoon on the assembly line:

puff puff pass " oops , forgot to add the key ingredient for the defrost wires"

99 out if 100 is still good . Quitting time !

Had the same happen. Privacy glass. I live in the desert and no one needs a defogger. I didn't say %&$#, lol.
