Just used one of the PR X films recently.  Lesser lifetime than interior installs but a way to safely get high heat rejection on insulated glass.

Is that some kind of blind or is it Dusted adding the gray hue.

Just put the same stuff up on an Office Max storefront. Really pretty film. Never seen an exterior film that looks that good. Makes quit a difference inside

Yes in deed it will make a big difference inside, 2 reasons  this film was used on this job and one was heat and the other was obstructions in front of 2 of the bays.

 

We replaced all of the logos and vinyl signage today.

 

 

This is the wall that covered 1/2 of this bay.

 

 

On this bay there was a cabinet and a cabinet base and a wall against the windows.

Mike's the expert , especially with 3 M, but I would seal the bottom in case of water pooling

Edit. Just had another look at Mike's pics, if you pulled the bottom gasket and got the film under it , you wouldn't need to seal the bottom IMO.
