Last time I stocked up I didn't realize they had pulled a fast one on me and changed the paper towels to the mini or 2 towels in one idea! Bought five cases and everyone in the shop hates um. Lots of lent and trash. Why screw up a good thing!!!

Went this week to stock up again and that's all they have still.... Ended up buying Bounty for 5 bucks more a case. Same quality as the old Kirkland except cost more!

I know Kyle (there always is a) Buttt or if I could get my tinters to use them! For years I tinted with the blue squares from Cleavland Cotton and washed then sorted them till they were only shadows of their former self and used to clean leaky stuff off the floor. All day I would tint using one clean new one. In my videos I call it a clean clean! First tape then squeegee and use the clean clean if needed for a small streak .... Remember I had already used a washed one to wip down the frame and a almost new one to wipe the seal.........

THEN I started hiring tinters..... Do I need to say more :beer

I have a great crew that has been with me for 12 - 13 and 4 years that work very hard for me when needed but it became obvious right away none of them had ever paid for Cleavland Cotton clean clean rags!.... Or even know the bounty was 5 bucks a case more.... 2-3 towels = 1 small wipe and in the trash.

Hiring anyone you gotta learn to pick your battles :twocents

Funny cuz I just called Bounty to complain how linty and non absorbent their towels have become lately. I've been using bounty for over 20 years and they seem to be going down hill like other products I have been using for years... so now looking into baby cloth diapers and huck towels..

      100% ⬆️ I'm shocked they retinted it since all they had to do was look at the window at an angle from the outside to easily notice the issue was outside of the window film.

      This is not the fault of the window tinter. As you stated, all the rest of the windows are fine. This is failure in the window itself, due to a leak between the panes of glass. You have lost the gas in between the panes and moisture has gotten in.

      Hello i have just had my house windows tinted but im left with these hideous streaks. I made the supplier retint the window and same thing happened. They tinted the rest of the windows without an issue. they’re saying it’s a fault with the glass, which I find hard to believe. It’s just a double glazed window. I tried scrubbing it from the outside but that did nothing any ideas what this could be? I’ve attached a photo

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      All Right cool. I've been practicing with an inexpensive tint I found on amazon. Its called Rockrose. I'm just about ready to make some cards to pass around to get clientele. I've been debating if I should start with Puremax cuz its a lot cheaper or Geoshield cuz of the great quality I've heard of. I'll probably go with Geoshield so I can make it easy on myself and make sure I do great quality work for my customers. Are you already doing doing jobs for customers? If so, did you stop using the Puremax and now only use Geoshield?

      Ghosting week require a smoother, more even and spread out shrink. Look at my old "ryk shrink" using 2 heart guns with an over/under setup. That would be my suggestion.

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Hey all, I am not a pro tinter but more or less just someone who likes to experiment / DIY. Wanted to ask if there was anyone here who has used the Geoshield "Geo" line for automotive purposes? I really like the color, but I get really bad ghosting for anything that requires decent shrinking. The film is specced as architectural, but has a PS adhesive so some use it in auto applications. I sent an email to see if that is the reason why it's for flat glass .. lol This is a sputtered TiN film and has a beautiful color imho. This reminds me of Huper Optik, and not quite sure but I think Johnson had a line called "InsulatIR" that I could never get my hands on to try. The film has a slightly purplish reflection (TiN I guess), when put on green auto glass, filters out and looks super neutral. ❤️ I've had it on my auto for a while but my rear window is a mess when the sun hits it (ghosting) and was curious if this is just not suitable for auto Any info would be appreciated. Skill issue, ie: shrink with lower heat? lol Thanks.

      chameleon window tint good quality

      If you don't mind trying to source some, there is a large Japanese manufacturer that makes a bunch of dichroic - looking films. It might be your style, but it would be hard to get your hands on some. https://www.braintec.co.jp/filmlab/ I believe some of the films do have decent heat-rejection, but because of the nature of the films, looking through them can be really funky. They are well-known in Japan and would likely be of decent quality. Also, very expensive. Depending on where you are, shipping would also be $$$.

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      I feel the difference in quality with geoshield. Not only is it easier to peel the liner off but shrinking feels better and I think the material feels slightly thicker(helps with not creasing) Only downside that the price noticeably different. For mainly everything Its atleast another 100 on top of for example stuff from tints Lexen. I haven’t tried solarfree either.
