removing F series and other ext cab windows with buttons.

In order not to lose the washers between the hinge and glass during removal. Use masking tape to create a catch net right below the hinge.

Once you remove the screw and button the washer will fall onto the tape and not down inside the door panel.

Upon reinstalling the windows, use a small drop of super glue to hold the washer to the window while reinstalling the hardware.

Me too, but I really hate cutting around the buttons even worse.

I use tape to hold up the windows some times on similar pop open glasses...keeps the glass from falling.

I normally use my suction cups.
