That's true, as I have made some 20yr tinters look like one as well. I'm competing for the title this year, as I like to put my money where my mouth is and back it up with my skills.

How long do you allow your tint to dry before microedging? I only do it on frameless but personally have had 2 cars come back with it peeling.... specifically on Camaro's for some reason and they were newer ones which you have to "trick" the doors... IDK if it had something to do with the half inch or so the glass moved up when shutting the door or lousy workmanship on my part(hope not) Since I have stopped doing so and just get a super close cut

How much slip do you use mate?

If the film hasn't tacked enough by the time you let the windows drop there's a high chance the film will raise above the edge without creasing or peeling at all..... Just give it a double check with your knife after you drop the windows so you can rule out your workmanship..... Custom fitting, it's what I do, but I do agree its probably not the best thing for the film in the long term.

Lol, I don't understand people like you. I come here to show my work as a professional window tinter on a professional window tinter forum and people like you just troll around looking for post to smash. In response to your question, yes I am that guy. Don't have my own shop yet, but still holding down the fort until I save up enough to be on my own. So again your problem is? And yes it is great to be me.

I don't know what's wrong with that guy. Never said I was better than anyone, never said I was the fastest. He asked a smart question on my name and I gave him an answer. I'm not looking to get in a pissing contest, was simply showing off some of my work. After all this is a tint forum.
