Tinting hard gaskets

Have been tinting for a while now, but seems like recently i've been getting a plethora of older vehicles. I've had a 93 Dodge Conversion van, older single cab trucks. Just wondering if you guys have any tips or tricks to doing these so dirt and dust don't make there way into the corners/edges. As always, any help is appreciated!

you just need to clean the glass more than once before you apply the film. not sure what kind of tank you may be using, but try to get alot of pressure in it and just flush the sides really well

 I tape off the sides on ol' dirt bombs...or just price higher so they go somewhere else....

ALOT of cleaning! i will use a medical type towel wrapped around a red devil, or a gold ez reach tool swipe under gaskets and in all corners gooood!

 

i had to learn on all those old vehicles in the 80s. give plenty of time to clean thoroughly. NO FUN!

Pre cut. On in side if u can. Clean with razor. I use as little water as poss.leave glass dry.

Just slime the film!

Soak up water when removing water from bottom.

got a dirt bomb yesterday, it was an 85 ford single cab. the customer had the balls to tell me he wanted bubble free. told him i could just rip it off anf call it quits. clean clean clean. even on rear glass on trucks.
