Not trucks but same sort of thing happened to me when I mentioned to people I bought a plotter.

ive got a kenworth to do monday, the worst part for me is my roller door of my shop is 3.9 meters so prime movers dont fit in  so i have to go to them and its often in shitty conditions, tip though, cut all film then get inside cab and peel film off windscreen keep doors closed

worst part with trucks is i do them with trims on and i do cars 95% of the time with trims off or rubbers pulled

Very encouraging start. Did you try to tint those glasses absolutely without heat gun?

so pull the trims on the trucks as well.

I do if given enough time, makes for an easier and cleaner install.

I do them the same as you, usually cut them from kits, close the doors and peel on the windshield.

yes pulled the trims as most trucks have a heap of built up shit in the inside rubber rather not get that gunk on the film and no heat gun used no need.
