Shrunk this in literally 5 mins this morning, using soap method, everything went great then on install I managed to mark it,

Well...... From that moment it all went belly up, took 5 attempts to redo it, I just couldn't shrink the top corners without it creasing! Finally did it but I was almost screaming!

Then next on the list an old vw t4 camper, nice and easy, managed to cut the film short on the matrix, then to top it off the battery dies and my battery pack went flat!

Been having a great time recently so I guiess I was due a bad day!! Beer now and hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day.... Oh no actually we got an a8 in the morning ..... The joys!

Did you use the same soap residue to shrink the next pattern(s)? I have found that If I have to redo a back glass and don't clean and re-apply either fresh soap or dryer sheet, the film wan'ts to stick too much to the glass while trying to shrink.

Never thought of this chaps, cheers, today however was a good day, actually a great day! The soap shrink combined with lulu ATC is just a weapon of tint destruction! My install times have just almost dropped in half,

Tinted an a8 a c class saloon and an class saloon in 3.5 hours today, all flawless, and we wernt rushing, admittedly I have a helper who basically takes trims off and cuts some patterns and does a initial glass clean,

No peanuts anywhere, used to get peanuts everywhere, a8s used to take 4 hours plus!
