The heat lamp is for the sale team at the dealership....We rarely see or deal with the customer.....90% of my tint at my BMW dealership is 3M Crystalline.....due to the heat lamp....Attached is the heat lamp at that dealership.....I put it there like 5-6 years ago.... :money JUST SHOW ME THE MONEY......

This i agree with 100%

Why? Because the shit still blocks a huge amount of heat, if they are all at the same VLT then it is no lie if the IR lamp feels better behind IR films

Nice marketing

How much would it cost to open an Automotive Window Tinting Business with top of the line equipment?  Not rent, payroll, insurance or anything like that, just equipment.

thanks in advance

The red heat lamp is very effective to demonstrate on how well films can perform. If used improperly though, they can very easily misinform a customer on how well your "IR" film actually works!

That's almost accurate, however given some films work well in part of the IR range and work in the visible light range, red bulbs will not tell the whole story. As exampled with Crystalline 90, it's performs well in a narrow IR band between 850 - 1100nm but not so in the visible. Add some visible light reduction to Crystalline and you see the TSER improve.  Example a Huper ceramic and you'll find that product works impressively across the entire IR band as well as in the visible. Many alternative ceramic based products also work across the entire IR band rather than a narrow range. Crystalline has an excellent 'stand behind it while the sun shines through feel good factor' like many IR blocking products out there.
