Matte PPF on Gloss paint.

I have installed the matte film on matte paint but not on gloss. I have a customer that wants a full car done to give it a matte paint look. My question is ,can you see gloss on the slight edge of say a relief cut on a bumper or things like that? I will cover and wrap everything I can.Would you say it adds a lot of labor when going over gloss paint with matte? Thinking I will have to pull a lot of parts to get the most seemless install posible.

You would have to go round as many lips/edges as you can, or cut some thin strips to cover the gloss bits.

I did a McLaren with gloss to make the carbon pop as it was matt and the factory option for gloss was a fortune

U have to do it like as if its vinyl film, in this case, bulk install

computer cut is good. just takes more time to modify patterns. some areas you'll see gloss but it doesn't look bad at all. it's the same color so it's hardly noticeable when done correctly.
