I want to try wrapping the edge on some tools with Teflon tape, curious if I can get a little roll locally or if I have to order online? Where do you guys go

I tried some of the teflon tape on a bunch of tools, not blown away. Feels like more headache. This is what i used, was recommended by other tint dudes.

Is that similar to the slip or teflon tape that some of the tool providers sell?

I would like to get something on my hard cards so I can keep the scratching down but get the extra push I want on edges.

In a couple Facebook groups people were recommending this brand, Rick at sundistributingdirect.com sent me a roll to check out.

If it's just for edges you may want to get the Orange Tri-Edge Plus, it has a nice rubberized edge on it already - http://www.interwesttools.com/p-245-orange-tri-edge-plus-hard-card.aspx

Yeah trouble is most of those groups are biased to whatever supplier is in there so you have to take them with a grain of salt.

That sure is true, we all have to look though that, one group felt like one long ongoing commercial for shit film. But the guy that sent me the teflon tape sent it for free from his own roll, so sometimes it's worth it, even though i didn't care for it. The Tri-Edge plus is pretty cool though, if you haven't checked it out it's worth a looksee.
