Heat shrink help please

Recommended Posts

My heat shrinking bites ass. I can’t get the tint to lay flat for the life of me. If I start at the bottom my fingers climb up I can’t seem to push everything down. I constantly crease or burn more crease tho. I suck and I keep trying and I’m not getting any better. Any help out there for me?

I’ve had windows with overspray or something similar on them before. This will cause the film to actually “float” too much and not allow it to lay down after you shrink and card it down. Typically you will start to over shrink the film and possibly start to burn it. If this is the case I will usually blade the outside of the window to avoid this.
