so is there a panel that covers the glass on the inside like it does on the outside?
No, just you have to take the painted panel off to access the bolts for the spoiler.

Here's the removal if it helps anyone.
This was about the hardest part to not damage. These little clip things need to be pushed from the sides but they are tight and stretched a bit. Mine were a little loose when I put it back together, but maybe next time I can get it a little better since I can see the clips.
Pop off the covers on the handles and remove these bolts.
These clips also
From there you can pop off the plastic panel.
Next are the bolts for the brake lights.
There is a clip that keeps it attached. It takes a little muscle to release but I don't think you can really break anything pulling.
There is the white panel across the back next that is bolted on.
I think this is the spoiler bolt in the middle
The side spoiler bolts.
Wiper bolts.

Pull the panel and trip the latch so it thinks it's closed, use the key for up and down. Cut it on a plotter and life's a breeze.

A customer raises concern about their car being driven around while you have it; you suggest that they take note of the odometer on arrival to give them some peace of mind.
One look at the Ferrari and no one dares ever mention anything like that...anything else is a shitter and why would I want to drive theirs to get my rocks off?
But years ago I can recall a guy setting his trip meter to 0.....the car....a new for the time Ford XD 1980 Cartier.
About the only thing of distinction was the name used by Ford under licence.
Devil
I've had that a few times. I tell them I've had cars that made 2 and 3x the power their car has and I really wouldn't be all that impressed. It usually takes them down a notch.

Nice Car what did you do to it?
550. Strip and tint in atc 35

I tell them a grand. Easy car to tint if you don't have one come in, hahahaa. But yeah, you names all of the reasons I don't care to do it.There is a write up on removing the rear deck in the Jag section, just look for it. The doors, no idea, I'm not a fan of cutting stuff, but that isn't the worst idea.

On other Audis it can run down the wires in to the amp.

If you remove the little plastic push clips, you can pull the panel back and remove the sweep. Then just drop the pattern down the door, push out the glass, and spread it. Removing the sweep will keep water out of the door module too.

Some thing also to add about LLumar. They really do not care about getting old customers back. I buy film from a few differant manufactures with no minimum. LLumar not so much. When i did try to buy film they wanted to charge me 50% more than what i was paying .I have written them off my list of ever buying film from again. You would thing they would be eager to get an old customer back.
since this thread is 10 years old, I will take a moment to suggest that maybe llumar doesn't like you and has someone they like better where you are. Llumar has treated me well.

I wish I could take credit for this one, but my co-worker did this Passat in CTX today to damn near perfection. I couldn't find much of anything on it. I wish we could replicate this daily. I didn't take any close up pictures, but I promise, this is one of those unicorn jobs where the stars align.

I would say if you were selling Llumar as a primary line of film and have been, you might be able to talk to your rep. Just starting out and only wanting to buy a little CTX for here and theres, it's pretty understandable they want to limit access to the software.

they told me that was an additional $50 each month.
I was under the impression Precisioncut provided tint (including windshield), ppf, vector X as one package??but for the price I think tint tek is the better deal. you get flexi, paint protection, and windshield templates for the same price as PC's tint templates.
With motorcycle and RV patterns too in the PPF
No idea. Do you buy mainly Llumar film?

I think the issue is people getting llumar marketing materials and llumar PC, then not actually selling llumar film. There are a few shops in my town with all of the llumar crap out, but they aren't dealers.

SunTek sells to my employee....LOL.

BMW and Jags pretty consistently seem to show a pretty good cut down in the range of their AM signal and also some additional noise interference through the stations, like whistles and buzzing.

I'm just going to charge a bit extra. I honestly don't think it will add that much time and none of the parts seem super breakable. Luckily I do most of the complicated stuff, so I bet my co-worker can have the rest of the car done by the time I've got the back ready.
