Thats so cheap to strip and re tint a vehicle. we normally charge $15 per roll down/pocket window removal, sometimes more depending on how it removes, back glass starting at $50 and going all the way up to $150 maybe more hehe.

Thank you @ TintWizard, those are very kind words.  Im just doing what I have always done and that is to first trust in God and second pursue my passion, working on autos! I am very blessed to have VERY good insurance that has already wrote me the check and it is sitting in the bank waiting on the contractors and city to make it happen! No worries here as I really don't have to work anymore and having vacation time in the summer is a first!  I work because I love what I do and so many of my lifelong customers are my really good friends. They showed me how much I am loved by showing up the night of and the day after the tornado with gloves, food and water, trailers, shoulder to cry on, arms full of loving hugs. I'll continue to tint for them and to testify of God's Loving Grace and protection for I can do ALL things through Him Who strengthens ME! Philippians 4:13

I have been tinting for a very long time and I am forever searching for something to make removing glue from rear windows. Well I've found it. you can buy it at AutoZone for $7.99 or at Wal-Mart for $5.75. No more ammonia....Try it you'll see. spray it on, wait 10 minutes then wipe with a scrub pad and paper towels

Sounds great! It's weird how things end up working out. I was injured at my old job and I thought I was screwed. Tinting gave me a second chance.

Maybe try to add PPF or vinyl wrap?

Thank you @flat rock stan! Goes without saying....I'm bored! I have worked all my life and always had plenty of work to do. I don't call all that paperwork and going through my losses work but drudgery. However, now the realization that I am going to have a new clean building to work in after 34 years is sinking in. New improved air system to reduce air contamination!! NEW TOOL BOX WITH TOOLS!!!!All new tint tools!!!  Loads of new film!!! I'm even going to paid while I cannot work.  WOWZERS!! I feel very fortunate that I have very good insurance. I've received almost the full amount insured as of Saturday and picked out my building plans and metal colors. The site has been completely cleared now so next step is for concrete work and plumbing to begin. I've already begun to replace my tools and looking at new ideas for more improvements to make in my work area.
Told my husband, now would be the time to go learn something new from other tinters. Just not sure how to go about that.

Thursday night a tornado struck Muskogee Oklahoma and my shop took a direct hit and is a total loss. My steel building was crumpled like a tin can...a total loss. Husband and I were home about to go to sleep thinking we had dodged the bullet when the news channel flashed a picture of my corner of the world and I could clearly see my building was gone. We dressed and drove to town, my phone blowing up as we went. I finally took one phone call and a friend was standing in my parking lot telling me what he saw. My shop was completely destroyed he said. I cried all the way to town and to my shop. So many of my friends were there wanting to help, console me, offers of help tomorrow. We could do nothing as gas was rushing from my torn gas meter and electric lines down everywhere. Couldnt even reach my film as it lay visible under a wall. My  customers truck severely damaged and the only thing not moved strangely enough. After many hugs, tears and offers to carry out what we could we were made to evacuate the area.
I cant sleep. I know I will have to be back there early this am which is fast approaching. Glad I have insurance. The pits that I just got a shipment of film in yesterday. Thankful I have God on my side and a wonderfully supportive husband, friends and church family.
My trust is in the Lord. My eyes are on Him. To God be ALL the Glory!
