Global is rock solid, been using it for over 8 years now with very little issues. I also have been using solar fx along with it which has also been very good. Maybe @whitehog can help you out on either one of those.

whitehog reacted to Stewy in need help with film options
I would do carbonfx or ultrafx as my dye line. Then i would do IRFX for an upgrade. Ceramic is expensive so i would stick with those two for now and when you get btter and make more, add the FXtreme.

whitehog reacted to jh812 in Advice on film options purchasable without an account
If you're dead set on ordering online check out express window films, specifically the classic black line up. It's a great film that will last in Florida as I have a few buddy's that use it there.
If you're interested in getting hooked up with an awesome company check out solar fx from dragon distributing. Great customer service and products to match.

I like Rick too, but he's really coming across as Ralph2.0 lately. Everyone knows Tintclub is Ralph's company, they're feeding on newbies who like the youtube videos. Ralph reminds me of the old Snake Oil Salesman selling that magic elixir that will cure all but is really just oil.
(He's holding a jar of Methyl Ethyl Ketone)

whitehog got a reaction from EFFORTEQUALSRESULTS in People Will Do Anything To Sell Film
We often tell our customers that they shouldn't recommend to their customer using MEK to clean the windows.
I hope you all realize that was a joke
The only thing the MEK test does is show how a film is colorized. The film on the far right, is most likely a Korean film. They do not have the technology to deep dye a film (which is still the proven best way to colorize a film for longevity) therefore they input the color in the lamination adhesive during lamination. This test merely shows the dying technique used to impart color into the film.
